I will be posting on here as much as I can to let everyone know my progress, my feelings, my motivations, etc.
I would appreciate words of encouragment every now and then just so I know I'm not alone in this process.
I realize that not many people will read this, much less respond to it, but I'm willing to try it out.
I'm going to put myself out there and let everyone know my weight and my struggles so you all will realize how serious this is to me.
My weight is at a total of 340 lbs.
I am on high blood pressure pills.
I am on thyroid pills.
I'm not even close to diabetic...which is a good thing.
I have severe back pain to the point where it hurts to stand.
I do have some energy, but it doesn't last very long.
And I want to have kids someday, but not until I fix this.
I can't even take care of myself, much less another human being.
Ok....now I've said all there is to know.

Woohoo, I am so excited for you. This is so exciting because once a ta da moment has clicked in our head and we realize we need or want a certain change to be able to overcome obstacles and gain another quality of life, is when the sky is the limit. Congrats a thousand times over.

Hey Amanda! I hope you are having some successful days in your new journey and aren't getting discouraged. Remember there are so many people thinking of you and supporting you even though we may not always be able to take time and let you know. Have you thought about Weight Watchers? That would be a great weekly support group and accountability system for you. It's all about life change and not diets!:)
